CEO of the company is German-born Peter Rieger who has been living in Asia since 1971. Until 1980 he was based in Bangkok as author/publisher of a series of annually up-dated travel guide books covering 11 countries in Asia and working as Area Development Manager for a major European tour operator. Subsequently Rieger was involved in international marketing of travel products based in Hong Kong. Since 1992, BALI.com Ltd (formerly PRIVATE VILLAS LTD) has been arranging the rental of privately owned villas in Bali for foreign visitors. In 1995 the company launched "Balivillas.com" on the Internet, and its web site features details on about 30 comfortable, fully staffed villas in various price categories and located in different parts of the island.
Balivillas.com has become well-known as the top source for renting the most beautiful villas in Bali. All domestic staff working in the villas is trained and supervised by the Villa Management Department headed by Mr. Nyoman Sudiarna. A number of multi-lingual guest service staff and reliable drivers are on hand to provide personal assistance from the time you arrive at the airport to your departure.
Ms. Endris, Mr. Michael, Mr. Budi, and several of the supporting staff have been with the company since the opening of the Bali Service Center in 1996 and are well-known to regular guests.
